Ok, finally… we finished the DogYears v2.1 update. Alex found one of the errors which was an “Invalid Argument” problem on the iPod Touch. The other issue that I found was with the dTECT alert advertisement. Apparently, when you dismissed the alert for the last time, it actually didn’t dismiss it forever so basically the alert would show back up later even though you didn’t press the “Remind Later” button. Alex and I have just finished dTECT v1.2 It should be available for download in about a week or so. One of the new features included is a help page that will explain how to take pictures, change themes, and set shutter delays. We have also added a news feed and an about page.
We are now focusing our attention on DogYears and fixing the “Invalid Argument” error that many iPod users have been experiencing. To avoid getting this error, simply connect to WiFi while running the application until the update is released. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.
